Comprehensive Eye Exam

Regardless of your age or physical health it is important to have regular eye exams. During a complete comprehensive eye exam Dr. Hajdu will evaluate your overall visual health. Not only will she determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contacts but will also examine the eyes for allergies, dry eye and many other common eye issues and diseases. Evaluating your eye can give Dr. Hajdu an indication of your overall health.

Management of Ocular Disease

Regular eye exams help monitor any change in the health of the eye or any progression of many eye diseases. Early detection of many diseases can lead to better treatment and help preserve your vision and eye health. Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Macular Degeneration are a few of the more common diseases Dr. Hajdu will be checking for during complete exams.

LASIK and Cataract Surgery Co-Managed Care

Dr. Hajdu understands the importance of your vision and works closely with experienced opthamologists throughout Colorado to refer you to the best possible surgeon for your procedure.

Dr. Hajdu performs both pre and post operative care for LASIK corrective surgery. The refractive visual state is evaluated along with the complete health of the eye. Once the patient has been counseled on LASIK an appointment will be made with Dr. Hajdu’s preferred surgeon at Dishler Laser Institute in Denver. Dr. Hajdu has extensive experience co-managing pre and post op Cataract surgery as she worked directly with two experienced cataract surgeons while she was practicing in Florida. Dr. Hajdu is very knowledgeable on the cataract surgery procedure and can help counsel the patient on the variety of the best lens implants available and what will give the patient the best surgical outcome.

Dry Eye Therapy

Dry Eye Syndrome is a chronic condition which can be managed with a variety of different therapies depending on the severity of symptoms the patient is experiencing. Some of the common symptoms of dry eye are redness, burning, gritty and even excess watering.

Living in a high altitude climate can also aggravate dry eye symptoms. Dr. Hajdu can provide you the best care to relieve your dry eyes and optimize your comfort.
